Mission

  • Students will be capable of using IT critically to search, select, analyse, manage and share information.
  • Students shall master IT skills to facilitate collaborative learning, problem-solving and self-directed learning.
  • Students will be able to learn to make the most of the digital technologies available to them, adapting to new ways of doing things as technologies evolve and limiting the risks to themselves and others in a digital environment.

Curriculum Goals

  • Understand the organization and series of computer systems, and their interrelationships with hardware, software, and data.
  • Recognize the social, ethical and legal aspects of the use of ICT.
  • Effectively and ethically use and identify a range of applications to support information processing and problem solving.
  • Show their personal understanding of various methods of analyzing problems and know how to use ICT to plan and implement solutions.
  • Experience how information literacy and the use of ICT to share knowledge influence people’s decisions and change society.
  • Become a responsible and ethical ICT user.
