The PTA was established in January 1999. After the opening of the new school, the association was renamed as "Caritas Wu Cheng-chung Secondary School Parent-Teacher Association" in November 2005.

Through the yearly meeting, new committee members of the PTA are elected. Various types of activities, interest classes and talks are organized for parents and students. The Association regularly publishes newsletters to provide information about the school and our activities, so that parents can better understand their children's learning and needs.

Besides, the Association provides a "Best Progressive Student Scholarship" and an "Academic Excellence Scholarship" at each level for encouraging students to pursue excellence in their studies.

The establishment of the PTA Resource Centre provides a venue and space for PTA committee members to carry out the affairs of the meeting smoothly. Meanwhile, it strengthens parents’ connection and enhances mutual friendship.

To strengthen the parent-school connection and communication and build a good relationship among parents, teachers, schools and parents;

Promote parent-school collaboration so as to enhance teaching effectiveness and the well-being of students and schools; Promote parent education.
