National Security Education Day

National Security Education Day

Today is the sixth National Security Education Day (National Security Day) of our country and also the first of its kind since the implementation of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the National Security Law). In order to explain the meaning of this National Security Education Day to our students, our school organised a series of activities. The flag-raising ceremony encouraged students to respect their own country and identity. In order to reduce the risk of the spread of the coronavirus and avoid large crowds, our school arranged for some classes to attend the on-site ceremony, while others watched the online real-time ceremony in the classrooms. In addition to this, both a booth game and an online quiz competition related to National Security Day were held for students to understand the meaning of this special day. #0415 #National Security Education Day
