The indigenous villagers told us tales and history of the estate, introducing the farmland, cottages, stores, tea houses, dormitory of Dairy Farm, Dance dragon murals and so on. After that, they took us to visit the beautiful scenery along the Aberdeen Reservoir.
After returning to the ‘Vegetable Garden’, the chairman cooked the food and gave everyone a taste of a rustic lunch. The students and other parents participated in the "Stone Milling Soymilk Workshop" and personally used the stone mill and the stove to produce the original flavored soybean milk and experienced a hands-on food culture.
About 60 parents, students and teachers participated.We first visited the Spiral Lookout Tower in Tai Po.Then we went to the Sha Tau Kok Farm and visited the Animal Zone. We took a buffet lunch and made 茶果 ‘steamed buns’ in the farm . After the meal, we visitedthe mangrove areaand buy vegetables and fruits in the farm.During the journey, the parent committees arranged games for everyone on the coach. The prizes were rich and the atmosphere was lively.
Voting Day: Parents voted in person in the school lobby.
Counting of votes and the announcement of results:
The Returning Officer was responsible for the counting and was witnessed by Principal Chan and all the PTA Standing committees. Ms LAM Yuet-lan was elected as the Parent Manager (42 votes) and Ms TSE Yuk-fai as the Alternate Parent Manager (38 votes).

Aquaponics Design Course :
13 groups of families joined the event. Participants were going to make an aquaponics system with instructors’ help. Through the co-operation of making a mini aquaponic system, they were able to understand the latest ecological science, and could then enhance their parent-child friendship.
The 2nd Meeting of The Standing Committee of the 19th PTA
Spring whole school outgoing:
A total of 60 teachers, parents and students joined the event. We first visited the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden in the morning, we then took our buffet lunch in Harbour Plaza Resort City. In the afternoon, we had the chance to experience golf driving in Golf Park Golfers Club.
About 60 parents, students and teachers participated in this event. We first went to Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery by Coach.We visited the well-preserved heritage sites with temples, halls and historical buildings and precious relics.Then, we went to Yuen Long Korean Restaurant and enjoyed a rich Korean BBQ buffet.The last stop was Sha Tau Kok Farm where we could have a full view of Luk Keng coastal scenery and enjoyed many of its park facilities.
About 60 parents, students and teachers participated in this event. We first went to Kam Tim Country Club by Coach.It has the biggest Lotus Pool, Tea Area, an organic strawberry farm and lots of recreation facilities.Many of us bought those fresh strawberries and other organic vegetables. Then we walked along the Kam Tin Monuments Trailand visited the Yi Tai Study Hall, Ancestral Hall and Tree House etc.We enjoyed seafood and visited the fair in Lau Fau Shan.The last stop was Koon Wah Food & Preserved Fruit Factory Ltd and we bought a lot of Chinese New Year food and snacks there.
1. Seminar on the topic ‘Do youunderstand your children?’
The seminar is to let parents know what teenagers’ favourite gadgets are nowadays. This might help parents understand their children more deeply and mutual communication is possible.

We played group games and BBQ in the open area near the school tuck-shop. All the parents, students and teachers enjoyed a joyful afternoon that day.
Cooking Class – Fruit Cake Making
To celebrate the Mothers’ Day, we had organised a fruit cake making class for our students and their families. Our honorable guest acted as our tutor and all finished products looked wonderful.
Lunar New Year Whole-school Outing
About 120 parents, students and teachers joined this event on Sunday, 2nd March.We had visited several places including ‘Gold Egg’, the Charles K. Kao Auditorium, the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Park and Nan Lian Garden.

Interest Group: Cake Making – Lemon Puff
It was held by our cookery teacher, Ms Kong and was conducted in our Accommodation and Catering Room. More than 20 parents and students participated in this event. The close co-operation between parent and child made the making of ‘Lemon Puff’ a very success.
Chinese New year Picnic:
More than 150 parents, teachers and students joined our big gathering in Chinese New Year. We visited the Kap Lung Ancient Trail, Butterfly Garden, Milk Farm and Kam Tin Flea Market. Moreover, we had the chance to play in the Golf Practice Range and enjoy the delicious buffet in the hotel.
